I spoke with Dan Gerlanc. He is a data scientist who runs his own boutique big data firm called Enplus Advisors in New York. He provides services to clients in many industries from financial, to education, IoT. You name it!
During this conversation, we spoke about what he saw first hand during the financial crises right after 2008. During that time, he was working in the financial industry and he witnessed the layoff of most employees from the company he was working for. In a way this has fulled his desire to pursue his own consulting business.
Today he is a speaker at conferences, a trainer and he is very involved with the Data Science community.
